Edwards-Metcalfe Watch

Helping the Police keep an eye on our rural Edwards-Metcalfe Community

The Edwards-Metcalfe Watch is similar to a residential Neighbourhood Watch program, with which you may be familiar. The difference is that we are a registered charitable organization and that our volunteers patrol our larger community by vehicle. Founded in 1997 (as the Edwards Watch) in response to a rash of  breaking-and-entering crimes in our area, we work with the Ottawa Police to try to prevent crime—mainly property crime—in our community though patrols, observation and education.
